Lady Knight

Lady Knight (The Knight Case Book 1) by [Mosley, T. Nathan]

For the first post of this blog, I feel that I should probably go ahead and include a link to my first novel, Lady Knight. Below is a short blurb about the book.
Detective Cameron Knight does not believe in magic. It's kind of hard to when you're a single(-ish) mother in a high stress job that pulls you from bed at all hours of the night. One of these nights, though, Cameron encounters a magician. Not one of those guys who pulls rabbits out of hats, but a real, true magician. Of course she doesn't believe it. Until Mathias reveals to her a world that is full of magic, Knights, kings, and more.

Following the writings of one of the most powerful magicians to have ever lived, Mathias escaped to Earth, running from Knight Captain Emil Rouland. Emil has been tasked with bringing Mathias before the King of Draeca to face the King's justice. But Marek, a magician and enemy of Mathias, has other ideas. He sees this as his big break to finally exact his revenge on Mathias and become the hero he's always wanted to be.

Little do they all know, however, the cost of traveling between Earth and Draeca has a terrible cost. The fate of both worlds will hang in the balance as Vee, a being of immense power and evil, plots to conquer one, or both, of the worlds

October Update

Hello everyone!

Work on Knight Captain is progressing steadily, but I've had to significantly revise my timeline for completing the first draft of the novel, and now expect to have it complete by the end of the year. We're looking at a February or March release for the book now. It's turning out to be much longer than Lady Knight was, so you can expect about 50% more novel this time around.

In other news, production of Lady Knight's audiobook is starting this month! The audiobook will be narrated by the wonderful Mary Ann Weathers, and I can't wait to share it with you all. I'd encourage you all to check her out on Facebook and Audible, she's done some great work including The Dragon and The Scholar series and the Dawson Chronicles series. Her work on The Dragon and The Scholar series in particular has earned several five star reviews, so I'm honored to be working with her for The Knight Case.

December Update

Hello everyone!

I'll admit November has been a fairly uneventful month in terms of getting things done when it comes to writing. A lot of my time has been spent focusing on my classes and wedding planning.

I still expect to have the time to finish the first draft of Knight Captain by the end of the year, but we'll see. Right now I'm tentatively aiming for a March or April release for that book. Most of the rest of this month will be spent writing and, when the first draft is finished, revising.

In other news, the audiobook of Lady Knight is going to be completed this month! There will be a bit of time between its completion in release as I listen to it and make sure everything comes out good, but honestly I don't expect to have much to offer in terms of revisions. What I've heard so far has me extremely excited. You can expect the audiobook to be released in January.

Thanks for reading, and your patience!

August Update

Hello everyone!

July was a crazy month. Travel, preparing for school, podcast, and many more things have been occupying my time.

Oh, and I got engaged! Very exciting, and lots of things to do to prepare for the wedding. I'll be marrying my best friend and the love of my life, who without I wouldn't have even finished Lady Knight. She's also been a driving force behind my work on Knight Captain, which I'm still working on. So thank you for that, Alexandra.

Other than that, things are steady as she goes. I'm going to resume working on Knight Captain soon, and life carries on. I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know where I'm at. Right now I'm looking at a early 2018 release for Knight Captain, pending a cover and revisions.

Next year I'll probably start working on one of my other projects, but I haven't decided which yet. Good thing there's still plenty of time for that.

Thanks for reading!
